The Master of Entrepreneurship (ODL) program at Universiti Malaysia Kelantan is designed to meet the needs of distance learning with a focus on entrepreneurship relevant to the industry. Through the Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode, this program provides access to high-quality education that emphasizes innovation, creativity, and ethical problem-solving. Graduates of this program are not only trained in the technical aspects of entrepreneurship but also in communication skills and professional leadership. They are equipped with the knowledge and skills to communicate effectively in organizations or businesses, while enhancing career quality and the welfare of society through integrity-based entrepreneurship. Additionally, the program emphasizes the importance of lifelong learning to meet the demands of dynamic changes in the business world. The ODL format not only offers cost advantages but also supports lifelong learning regardless of location or life stage. Such programs also promote inclusivity and flexibility, allowing individuals from diverse backgrounds and those with special needs or physical limitations to access education. Furthermore, the program encourages the use of innovative educational technology to enhance interaction, learning support, and comprehensive learning experiences for all students.

REQUIREMENT

• A Bachelor's degree with Honours, achieving a CGPA of ≥ 2.50 from any recognized Public or Private University, whether local or international; or an equivalent qualification endorsed by the University Senate; or
• For candidates with a Bachelor's degree CGPA below 2.50, a minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience is required, subject to thorough internal assessment; and
• Other qualifications recognized by the Senate obtained through prior experiential learning assessment (APEL).
• International applicants must obtain a minimum score of 6.0 in IELTS or a score of 550 in TOEFL if their first degree is from a university that does not use English as the medium of instruction; or
• Applicants who do not meet the above requirements must undertake an intensive English language course identified by the University; or
• Exceptions to the stated requirements may be granted to international applicants whose studies or proficiency are in English; or
• Exceptions to the stated requirements may be granted to international applicants whose studies or proficiency are in English; or
• International applicants with academic qualifications obtained from any recognized local university endorsed by the Senate may be exempted from the stated requirements, but they are required to undertake an intensive English language course specified by the University.
